What do they offer?
Tycoon Stone creates bespoke, hand-crafted knife blocks made from rare natural stone. Founder Roland Schmidke – stonemason, sculptor and luxury stone-kitchen maker – magnetises ultra-thin stone slabs to beautifully display high-end kitchen knives. Each block is shaped, polished and finished by hand in the company’s workshop in the Bavarian Alps.

Every piece is a one-of-a-kind, sourced from extraordinary stones found in remote quarries worldwide. Think vivid Brazilian sodalite, iridescent marble, fossils, crystals, gemstones or even touches of gold leaf. Designs can even incorporate personal elements, such as the brake caliper of a client’s motor car, within a knife block.
